“FASRAT Compilation #1” is a collaboration between Father And Son Records And Tapes and Requiem For Disco - a new sublabel of Warsaw-based Requiem Records, releasing electronic and experimental music for the past two decades.

Only two tracks here were released before on FASRAT 12”s - the rest, by affiliated artists, are either unreleased or exclusive tunes from Poland’s freshest talents. Music ranges from sophisticated deep house of Das Komplex, through tribal stylings of Naphta and exotica-infused dancefloor bombs of Selvy, bass-heavy techno of DJ Sajko, youthful indie rock of the Niemoc trio (remixed in a punk funk style by the members of kIRk), uplifting Balearia of Babuko and Mr Yo So, to advanced edits by the label boss Maciek Sienkiewicz. These 12 tracks by 9 artists from 8 cities serve as a perfect introduction to the ever-growing Polish electronic music scene. Cryptic artwork by an emerging artist Maria Apoleika. Released as a limited CD in a 7” gatefold sleeve.
